Project Details
Overview
The goal was to craft a space that felt both established and contemporary. The design utilizes a "heavy" material palette—reclaimed wood siding and deep-set leather booths—to ground a high-energy, open-kitchen concept
Collaborators
Bacchus Management Group, SBB Design, Steven Hall Architect Inc., Greenwood Advisory, Rose Gold Society, OMR Commercial Seating and Hospitality Inc.
Scale
2,000 sq ft
Outcome
The restaurant is defined by its massive, wrap-around stainless steel bar. We paired these industrial surfaces with warm wood cladding and a row of minimalist black pendant lights, creating a long, cinematic horizon line. This "front-row" seating puts the culinary craft at the center of the guest experience, blurring the line between the kitchen and the dining room.

Louie's Original is one of several San Francisco hospitality concepts developed in collaboration with Bacchus Management Group. A shotgun floor plan solved through linear architecture, material contrast, and branding treated as a structural element.
