Outcome
At the heart of the prototype is the Storybook Promenade, a gently curving architectural pathway that organizes the store into distinct worlds: Baby, Girl, Boy, Occasion, and Seasonal Collections. Inspired by the turning pages of a classic children’s book, the promenade creates a sense of movement and discovery. Along its path, custom millwork, soft arches, and curated vignettes highlight the craftsmanship and charm that define the brand.

Developed under Craig Trettau's VP-level creative direction at Gap Inc. The prototype established a new physical retail DNA for Janie and Jack, translating the brand's tailored aesthetic into a scalable store format organized around curated product worlds for Baby, Girl, Boy, and Occasion.
