Overview
The goal was to create "breathing room" within the most energetic intersection in the world. The design centers on a stunning, multi-story blue glass facade that glows from within, acting as a serene yet powerful architectural anchor that celebrates the brand's iconic identity.

Outcome
Inside, the space transitions into a sophisticated, "white-box" gallery feel. We utilized light-toned French oak flooring and high-gloss surfaces to reflect light throughout the multi-level footprint. A dramatic central escalator "canyon" is framed by massive digital displays, creating a cinematic journey as guests move between denim, lifestyle, and children's departments.

Part of the coordinated Gap and Old Navy Times Square flagship opening in 2018, occupying the former Toys R Us space. Craig led global retail format design at VP level across both flagships, directing the creative strategy that established Gap Inc.'s largest retail presence in the world.
